The great French writer Simone De Beauvoir once said, "One is not born a woman, one becomes one."
After a life changing divorce provoked her to evaluate her career options, Ruth Romero realized
that becoming a personal stylist was a powerful way to help other men and women achieve
their best in life and in their careers.
Fashion and style have always been important in Ruth’s life. She has an innate ability
to provide beauty, wardrobe and career advice that reflect a man or woman’s unique
strengths and characteristics. She honed these skills while working in New York City
in the men and women’s fashion industry, as well as during the many years she traveled
the globe as the personal adviser for numerous Miss USAs and Miss Universes.
These experiences were life-enriching and, yes, glamorous, but Ruth always knew she
wanted to extend her reach to as many men and women as possible. Her passion and expertise
have fueled a successful business in which she now consults with clients on an hourly basis,
advising them on image-making techniques and presentations, while helping them avoid
image-breaking situations. These comprehensive consultations could include closet
audits, personal shopping trips, or makeup and hairstyle suggestions.
Ruth is a firm believer in the adage that less is more. In her one-on-one sessions,
she helps her clients develop a basic wardrobe which can be accessorized and
transformed with jewelry, scarves, or the right handbag or shoe. For men,
she assists in selecting the right shirt and tie, shoes and sox that will make
that basic suit or coat and slacks project confidence.
Ruth also provides group presentations for corporations on the basics of personal
style in the workplace from dress codes to general business etiquette. She takes
pride in helping clients to celebrate their individual style, teaching them that
when they feel good inside, it’s easier to project confidence, personally and professionally.
Ruth's mission is to make a positive and memorable difference in people's lives.
